In the 1920 federal census for the United States, Charles was an instructor in a Business College in 1920. Charles became a naturalized US citizen on April 17 1920.
Charles married Vivian Drucilla Lawrence (1910-2001) on March 28, 1930, in Seattle Washington.
In the 1940 United States census, Charles was living with Drucilla (he was 39 and she was 29) in Seattle Washington. He was an advertising executive, and they owned their home. He had completed the 2nd year of high school and he was self-employed. Drucilla was his assistant. There are no children listed.
