He married Thelma Jones, and had children Carolyn Jones, Debbie Jones, Wilbert Lee Jones, and William Jerome Jones. Frizell Jones died at age 84 years old circa October 5, 1999 in Princess Anne, Somerset County, and was buried in October 1999 at Israel Memorial Cemetery in Princess Anne.
