Margaret, known as Margot, came to Australia by ship the Euripides, around 1919. She travelled with her mother and sister. Sometime after she arrived in Australia she met Charles Wyndham Franklin (“Wyn”) who was married to Frances franklin ( née Finn). They began an affair and she bore him 2 children: John Dennis Franklin and Patricia Dawn Franklin - 3 Years his junior. He was told that his mother was very poorly during her pregnancy with Patricia And she was unable to look after him and that was the Reason he lived with his grandmother.
