My father and Russell's mother were brother and sister. I grew up with Russell. As a teenager, he had outdoor gear and enjoyed camping overnight at the creek on Grandpa and Grandma Stainbrook's farm. He joined the U. S. Army and became a member of the military police. He later became a security manager for large businesses. He wrote books for security managers, some of which are in print at Amazon. He ran a book store in Little Rock, AR. The family lived briefly in Virginia and moved next to Bridgeton, Maine.
