    Oliver Ludwig Peteffi was born in Iron Belt, Wisconsin on March 7, 1897 to Augusta W. Franzol (born 1874) and Francesco "Frank" Anto Peteffi (born 1867). He had 6 siblings: Viszerena (1895-1922), Frank Joesph (1901-1980), Adolph Agustus (1903-1955), Joesph (1905-1938), John (1908-1926), and Guido Peteffi (1911-1944). He grew up in Iron County, Wisconsin including Knight, Hurley, and Anderson, Wisconsin. On April 20, 1921 he married Muriel Irene White (1897-1979). Together they had two daughters, Mary Patricia (1921-1990) and Shirley Ann (1925-1967). Oliver Ludwig Peteffi passed away on September 14, 1957 and is buried in Upson, Wisconsin, United States.
