My mom's side of the family is Swedish (and still lives in Sweden) and she instilled in me lots of Swedish heritage and traditions which has made me who I am today. My dad's side of the family is German and Irish and the most likely the side of the family I get all my freckles from. Family is so important, and welcome everyone to discover more about them, their history, and share about their loved ones who make up the history of who we are!

Oliver Ludwig Peteffi was born in Iron Belt, Wisconsin on March 7, 1897 to Augusta W. Franzol (born 1874) and Francesco "Frank" Anto Peteffi (born 1867). He had 6 siblings: Viszerena (1895-1922), Frank Joesph (1901-1980), Adolph Agustus (1903-1955), Joesph (1905-1938), John (1908-1926), and Guido Peteffi (1911-1944).
He grew up in Iron County, Wisconsin including Knight, Hurley, and Anderson, Wisconsin. On April 20, 1921 he married Muriel Irene White (1897-1979). Together they had two daughters, Mary Patricia (1921-1990) and Shirley Ann (1925-1967).
Oliver Ludwig Peteffi passed away on September 14, 1957 and is buried in Upson, Wisconsin, United States.
