Leslie was a very athletic person. She was fast and also had a great smile. We started grade school together and actually was my first kiss in 4th grade. We were on a school field trip in Washington DC on a ferris wheel. When it stopped at the top, she said she lost a bet to a friend and proceeded to tell me that she had to kiss me.
I moved away from the area and unfortunately did not keep in touch. It was not until one day I read in the newspaper that Leslie had passed away while attending a friend's wedding.
I will always remember Leslie, and that first kiss. Rest in peace.
