  • Introduction

    Delver was a hard working blue collar man. He fought as a marine paratrooper in Iwojima and was awarded a purple heart for his valor; injured in combat. He worked for Southern California Edison for 30 years, retiring as a foreman in Southern California (Buena Park / Anaheim). He retired with his wife Peggy Maney near his family, daughter Lana Avila and grandson Alan Avila, in Lemoore California where he passed his time with friends over good jokes.

He was a hard worker and provider for his family. He brought them up to a higher standard of living. He served his country. He loved cooking for people and making them laugh and smile. He was a wonderful grandfather.
