Ada (Horrocks) Holliday was born in 1874 in Walhalla, VIC Australia to Joseph Horrocks and Jane Nicholson, and had a brother Alexander Tabley Horrocks. She was in a relationship with Jonathan Willis Holliday, and had children Violet (Holliday) Eaton and William Holliday. Ada Holliday died at age 77 years old in May 1952, and was buried at Kalgoorlie-Boulder Cemetery in Kalgoorlie, City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder County, WA.

They charged $13.50 per dozen jeans. In 1903, when she was 29 years old, two brothers, Orville and Wilbur Wright, flew the first powered heavier-than-air plane. They flew 4 times in one day - the longest flight lasting 59 seconds and a little over 852 feet. While the brothers had notified several newspapers of their attempt, only one - a local paper - covered it. After their 4th flight, a gust of wind caught the plane, turned it over, and totaled it.
