We know very little about my Great Grandmother Ada LaRue as to who her mother really was or where her father is from we know his name to be GEORGE LARUE and she was born in MI in the 1880's we know that in 1910 she was in a house in MI with a woman that is said to be her Grandmother named Susan Tairns but where they were before that we can find no record. There at least 3 women named to be her mother Amy North Emma and one named unknown. Have hit a blank wall finding out where they might have come Susan Tairns in the 1910 census is said to be born in New York can not find her in any previous or after Census's done in the U.S. her brother George Tairns is listed as in his late 40's can find him no where in any other census. I know that Ada married a William Isaac Loathridge in Swan Creek MI and they had 3 children William, James and my grandmother Leatha then Ada divoriced him and married Earl Patrick Sheldon my Grandmother Leatha's oldest brother in law. She is thought to have indian heritage.
