Ada Maude Westmore ( Dannock 1880 - 1957

Ada Maude (Dannock) Westmore was born in 1880 to William Dannock and Eliza Townsend, and had a sister Marion Elizabeth "Minnie" Westmore ( Dannock. She married Ernest Norman Wescott Westmore, and had children Norman Ernest Westmore, Phyllis Ada Westmore, and Raymond Victor Westmore. Ada Westmore died at age 76 years old on May 15, 1957 in Frankston, Frankston City County, VIC Australia, and was buried at Brighton Cemetery in Caulfield South, Glen Eira City County.

In 1898, by the time she was 18 years old, on February 15th, the USS Maine exploded and sank in Havana harbor. The reason for the explosion has never been found, but it killed 266 men.
