Adam was a fun little old man. He used to like to take walks through his old neighborhood in Lubbock,Texas. He'd always go out to Amigos United Supermarkets and buy himself Mexican pastry bread. Also, known as pan dulcet. He would enjoy Tejano music. Though Adam wasn't always in a church much he did believe in The Father,The Son, and The Holy Ghost. He did pray and keep candles. This man loved his children as far as I can remember him talking about all of them to me. Adam was loved by his family but, he really had his own ways. He liked to live single and alone after he came back to Lubbock a few times from leaving to California this was back in the early 1990's as far as I can remember. I adored him a lot. He loved to see old western movies of cowboys and Indians and watch novels also, known as Mexican soap opera story shows. He was very well put together for the most part. He loved his East LA life as well. Adam had a fairly decent life when he was in Lubbock Texas his brothers and sisters all loved and cared for him very much also.

I'm so sorry to the family. All the brothers and sisters ,sons, daughters,grandchildren, and loved ones who had to say good bye to my Uncle Adam A. Rivera. My dearest condolences go out to you all. My Tio was a great man as he was my grandfather Eloi's baby brother and they will be truly missed.
