Candi Sutphin Ryan McNew
My father was Harold (Shorty) Sutphin. He was married to Myrtle Davis for 13 years before I was born. He died when I was only 7 years old. I was born with his looks, left hand dominance, sense of humor,sense of direction, enate driving skills and his love of animals. I loved my daddy and am still mourning his death. I was the only child born to Shorty and Myrtle. His first child, Candace Melinda died after 24 hours from birth. I was left to carry on his legacy.
My son, Adam Edward Ryan, born May 30, 1984, is his only left handed grandchild. My daddy finally get his left handed pitcher. His granddaughter Melinda Louise Ryan was born with April 8, 1980 on his mother's 100th birthday. Melinda loves the Boxer breed of dog, his favorite breed. Melinda has his love of animals, sense of direction and his enate driving skills. Melinda's daughter Trista Jade, born Septemer 17, 2005 has "Shorty's" mothers "animal whisper" genes.
How I wish he had lived to see his family grow.
