She married Magdalena Ochoa, and had children Jose Jesus Arguelles, Yolanda Arguelles, Sara Arguelles, Adolfo Jr.Arguelles, Ramon Arguelles, Sonia Tomter, Rosa Arguelles, Esther Arguelles, Manuel Arguelles, Pedro Arguelles, and Israel Arguelles.
