He had siblings Anna Mary Norko (1914-1989), Elizabeth Norko (1916-1994), John Dominick Norko (1918-1972), Joseph Elmer Norko (1920-1965), Catherine Norko Cannatella (1923-1983), and Margaret "Peggy" Norko (1924-1979). On April 19, 1948 he married Nora Pearl Steinhauer (1918–1995) in New York City and the couple resided in Brooklyn, NY. Together they had two children together. He worked as a Restaurant Manager in New York City.
