Adolph Tampke was born in 1870 to Ludolph Tampke and Caroline (Schley) Tampke, and had siblings Sarah (Tampke) Prause, Charles Tampke, William Tampke, Julia (Tampke) Mueller, and Louisa (Tampke) Holzheuser. Adolph Tampke died at age 45 years old in 1915.
