He married Norma Nevarez Curiel, and had children Adrian Curiel, Pollyett Curiel, Ruben Laborin Curiel, and Agapito Curiel Jr.. Agapito Curiel died at age 59 years old on January 6, 2005.

    Agapito Ramirez Curiel Sr. Was a funny loving man He will be remembered for his story telling and giving nature he loved his family dearly. He was a wonderful musician he played the drums, He also trove truck for the family business. Agapito is servived by his daughters Adrian Curiel, Pollyett Curiel,And sons Ruben Curiel, And Agapito Curiel Jr. And many grandchildren, siblings Eugenio Curiel, Pablo Curiel, lupe Curiel, Manual Curiel, Fermin Curiel, juan Curiel, Juanita Curiel, Marie Curiel Davila, Trinidad Curiel. He is predeceased by his mother & father Olegario Curiel And Simona Curiel he also had A brother who is predeceased Ruben Curiel (Nano) whom he loved dearly. We. are reminded of love and family from Agapito's teachings in life.
