His father was Albert J Guerrazzi and his mother was Alvina. His great grandparents on his father's side was Tony Guerrazzi born 1876 and Jennie Guerrazzi born 1882 in Sicily, Italy.

He relocated with his mother and step-father, Leslie (Dooley) Douglas; younger sister Debra Lynn Guerrazzi, and haft siblings: John Douglas, Susan Douglas, Thomas Dougas, and Barbara Douglas to Levittown, Long Island, New York. The family lived on Pebble Lane, Cobble Lane, Candle Lane, and Homestead Lane.
