He had siblings Elizabeth Ann Bliss, Robert Bliss, George Bliss, Sarah Ann Bliss, John William Bliss, Isaac Bliss, Susannah (Bliss) Chenery, Mary Alice Bliss, and James Bliss. Albert Bliss married Emma Elizabeth Hatfield (Maybon) Bliss in 1927, and died at age 74 years old in 1950 in Ballarat.
