Albert Harry Brixius of Glendale, Maricopa County, AZ was born on February 10, 1920 to George G Brixius and Faye Marie (Coulter). He had siblings Elvena Marie Brixius, Gerald George Brixius, Merle Guy Brixius, Gayle G Brixius, Lucille Carol Brixius, Merton C Brixius, George G Brixius Jr, and Geneva Faye Brixius. Albert Brixius died at age 89 years old on December 27, 2009, and was buried at Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery Section CBN Row 3 Site 488 P.o. Box 6237, in San Diego, Ca.

In 1920, in the year that Albert Harry Brixius was born, the National Football League, first called the American Professional Football Association, was created. College football was more popular than pro football and rising player salaries were bankrupting league owners. In response, owners created the NFL, using the pro baseball association as a model. Eleven teams were formed: the Akron Pros, Canton Bulldogs, Cleveland Indians, Dayton Triangles, Decatur Staleys, Hammond Pros, Massillon Tigers, Muncie Flyers, Racine Cardinals, Rochester Jeffersons and Rock Island Independents.

In 1933, Albert was only 13 years old when on March 4th, Franklin Delano Roosevelt became the 32nd President of the United States. He was elected four times (equaled by no other President) and guided the United States through the Great Depression, the Dust Bowl, and World War 2. His wife was his cousin Eleanor Roosevelt (Teddy Roosevelt's niece) who President Truman called "First Lady of the World". Some of the major programs that survive from his presidency are the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Wagner Act (The National Labor Relations Act of 1935) , the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and Social Security.
