He had siblings Victoria Laing and Esther Laing. He married Isabella Crocker Laing in Mar at St Luke's Anglican Church 210 Dorcas Street - Emerald Hill, in South Melbourne, Port Phillip City County, Victoria, and they were married until Albert's death in 1902. Albert Laing had children Alexander Laing, Isabella Marion Laing, and Catherine Jane Laing.
