  • Obituary

    Albert Lee Cole, 63, of Left Fork of Island Creek, died Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at the Pikeville Medical Center. He was born in Pikeville, Jan. 21, 1948, the son of the late Harry Edward and Spicy Magalene Cole. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Billy Jack Cole; his sister, Pearly Mae Cole; his brother, Ralph Edward Cole; and one grandchild. He is survived by two sons, Bobby Lee Cole of Pikeville, and Tommy James Cole; his wife, Brandy of Columbus, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; three sisters, Evelyn Hartsock, and Marquita Snodgrass, both of Pikeville, and Mary Elizabeth Honaker of Willow Springs, N.C.; and many nieces, nephews and friends. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 11, at the Left Fork of Island Crk. Freewill Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Thacker Memorial Funeral Home. Arrangements are under direction of the Thacker Memorial Funeral Home of Pikeville.
