Albert would have been my uncle. His relatives would still be living in the Newport area of Wales. I was born in London to his younger brother Thomas James Williams, known as Jim. He died in 1994.

I have only one photo of Albert in the sea with his younger brother who was my father. He ran away from home and joined the Merchant Navy and died at sea on SS Castlemoor. His father Albert Samuel divorced Ronnie's mother who had left the family. Albert senior remarried a woman called May and they had a daughter called Pamela. However, the two boys suffered from the loss of their biological mother and that's why Ronnie left home so young.
