Albert Theadore Bonge was born to Jacob Bonge (1847 - 1934) and Minnie Wehmeier (1865 - 1955). Both parents were born in Germany. He had sisters Bertha, Edith, Alice, and Pauline Bonge. Albert Bonge married Esther Blanch Smith (1905 - 1990) on June 27, 1927 in Niobrara, Nebraska. They had children Ramona Joyce, Duane Judson, Robert Keith, and Albert Theodore Bonge Jr. He then married Alice Margaret Rish (1901 - 1988) on August 9, 1944 in Grand Island, Nebraska. The following obituary appeared in the Creighton News, Creighton, Nebraska, on Wednesday, May 31, 2000: Albert T. Bonge Sr. A memorial service for Albert T. Bonge, Sr., 99 of Creighton will be held Saturday, June 10, 2000 at United Methodist Church in Creighton. Reverend Ken Purscell will officiate the 2 p.m. service with burial at a later time in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Creighton. The body has been donated to scientific research therefore there will be no visitation. Albert T. Bonge Sr., son of Jacob and Minnie (Wehmeier) Bonge, was born May 11, 1901 in Knox County. Married Esther B. Smith on June 27, 1927 at Niobrara. Four children were born to them. He married Alice M. Rish in 1944. She passed away in 1990. Albert passed away on May 24, 2000 at Creighton at age 99. Survivors include a daughter, son, daughter-in-law, 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, two sons, Robert and Duane, three sisters, a brother; six stepsisters and eight step-brothers.
