Alexander Berkman, a well-known anarchist and writer in the first part of the 20th century, in the news with Helen Harris. They're arriving in Tarrytown, NY looking very dapper!
Berkman was deported in 1919 (he was born in Russia and emigrated to the US at age 18), moved to France in 1925, became ill in the 1930's and after years of pain, committed suicide in 1936.
