He had an older sister Lulu and younger siblings Valentine Fitelson and Eugene Fitelson. He was born in Newark, New Jersey and grew up in Detroit, MI. He later resided in Rochester, Monroe, New York and Queens New York. Alexander married Florence Roson on July 30, 1927 in Rochester, NY. He was a salesman in the wholesale supplies industry and was also a painter. On February 24, 1994, Alexander Fitelson passed away.
