  • Obituary

    Alexander Hutera - Cocoa - Alexander Hutera, 84, a retired electrical engineer, died Thursday, April 29, at Vitas Hospice inpatient unit in Merritt Island. Mr. Hutera was born in Baja, Hungary and he came to the U.S. in 1957 from Budapest, Hungary with his wife and two small daughters. He was employed by Charles E. Smith Company in Arlington, Virginia for over 15 years. After retirement in 1991 he and his wife moved to Cocoa, FL where he loved gardening, fishing and they enjoyed music and dancing with a retirement group. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Georgina Hutera of Cocoa; daughters, Katalin Heymann of Alexandria, VA and Joy Collins of Newport Beach, CA. His grandchildren, Edward Heymann and his wife Alejandro, Michelle Heymann, and Kyle Collins; and 3 great-grandchildren. No calling hours are scheduled. Memorial services will be at the National Cremation and Burial Society, 1200 S. U.S. Hwy. #1, Rockledge, FL 32955 on Friday, May 7th at 2 pm.
