    A resident of Arroyo Grande, Calif., he passed over Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008, in Arroyo Grande. He was 57. Survived by a daughter, Carrie Estabrook; son and daughter-in-law, James and Kristy Estabrook; sons, David and Jason Estabrook; six grandchildren, Jessica and Jared Helmke, Amanda Etue, Jayme Estabrook and Devin and Keegan Estabrook; sisters, Rosemary Cleek and Faye Kimball; and brother, John Estabrook. Preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Estabrook; parents, Frank and Lavonia Estabrook; sister, Lula Jo Estabrook; brother, Tom Estabrook; and sister, Linda Harper. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009, at 2:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker, officiated by the Rev. Fred Youngs. Burial: Alexander Estabrook died in California. He was cremated and then his ashes were "misplaced" for a few weeks by the United States Postal Service. They were eventually found in the Los Angeles airport and then flown to Louisiana to be buried with his wife, Darlene, on February 10, 2009.
