Alexander Singleton of Lynd Australia was born in 1863 in Lyndhurst, VIC to Robert "John" Singleton and Martha Jane (Little) Singleton. He had siblings Elizabeth Ann (Singleton) Henderson, George Henry Singleton, Martha Jane Singleton, William John Singleton Sr., James Singleton, and Mary Ann (Singleton) Dyson. Alexander Singleton died at age 74 years old in 1937 in Castlemaine, Mount Alexander Shire County.
