    Alfred Castillo Faccio was born on November 18, 1917 in Tucson, Pima County, Arizona, United States of America to parents Jose Cayetano Facio (1868-1919) and Mercedes Castillo (1883-1970). He had siblings Anita (1903-1974), Clayton (1906-1998), Francisco (1908-1999), stillborn boy (1912-1912), Manuela (born 1913), Adelina (born 1915), and Henry Castillo Faccio-Munoz (1928-1996). He had multiple half siblings as well. He lived in Tucson, Pima, Arizona, USA and in his younger years he played professional baseball and is registered in the Arizona Baseball Hall of Fame. On May 13, 1944 he married Grace Urias in Arizona and they had a daughter, Barbara Ann Faccio. Alfred served his Country during World War II, was employed for numerous years by the City Parks and Recreation.

    Alfred C. Faccio 91, a Native Tucsonan, born November 18, 1917, passed away August 10, 2008. Preceded in death by his parents, Mercedes Munoz and Antonio Munoz; brothers, Frank, Henry and Clay Faccio. Survived by his ex-wife, Grace Faccio; daughter, Elva Flores; son, Al Faccio, Jr,; grandson, Richard M. Flores. He is also survived by two sisters, Nellie Pain and Lena Lopez; brother, Ernie Faccio (Barbara). Alfred served his Country during World War II, was employed for numerous years by the City Parks and Recreation. In his younger years he played professional baseball and is registered in the Arizona Baseball Hall of Fame. There will be a memorial Mass on Monday, August 18, 2008, 10:00 a.m. at Santa Cruz Catholic Church, 1220 S. 6th Ave. Interment will follow at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 S.
