Alfred Newman 1900 - 1970

Alfred Newman was born on March 17, 1900 in New Haven, Connecticut United States to Michael Newman and Luba (Koskoff) Newman, and had siblings Lionel Newman, Emil Newman, and Irving George Newman. He married Martha Louise (Montgomery) Newman on November 6, 1947 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, and they were married until Alfred's death on February 17, 1970 in Los Angeles. He had children David Louis Newman, Thomas Montgomery Newman, and Maria Louise (Newman) Hosfeld. Alfred Newman was buried on February 19, 1970 at Forest Lawn 1712 S Glendale Ave, in Glendale, Los Angeles County.
