He had siblings Violet Louisa Oldis, Iva Matda Oldis, Baden Ernt Oldis, Amelia Fannie Oldis, Irene Ruby Oldis, and John Frederick Oldis. Alfred Oldis married Laura Angelina (Gluyas) Oldis in 1920, and died at age 62 years old on May 25, 1964 in Preston, City of Darebin County.
