She had siblings Minnie Caroline Clissold, Eva May Clissold, Charlotte Ann Clissold, Olive Marion Clissold, Henry Lee Clissold, Cora Elizabeth Clissold, Caroline Beatrice Clissold, George Stephen Clissold, and Clifford Reynolds Clissold. She married Frank Laurence White in 1918, and had children Alice Evelyn White and Frank Raymond George White. Alice Clissold died at age 94 years old in 1991 in Tweed Heads, Tweed Shire Council County, NSW.

At 1,454 feet (including the roof and antenna), it was the tallest building in the world until the World Trade Center's North Tower was built in 1970. (It is now the 34th tallest.)
