Alice Leone Moats was a American journalist. Although she was born in Mexico, her parents were American. She attended schools in Mexico City, Rome, and Paris, as well as Manhattan and North Carolina. But she pursued her career in the U.S. Her first book was entitled No Nice Girl Swears and was a tongue in cheek book of etiquette. She was also a foreign correspondent and journalist.
