    Obit - The Portage County Gazette, Stevens Point, WI Sunday, January 18, 2004 Alice M. Leavitt, 92, Plainfield, a lifelong town of Pine Grove resident, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2004, at the Portage County Health Care Center in Stevens Point. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the New Life Assembly of God in Plainfield, with the Rev. Franklin D. Reagan officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home in Plainfield, and from 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church until the services. Mrs. Leavitt was born June 8, 1911. She was adopted by Bion and Clara (Youngs) Lamberton. She was married to Thomas B. Leavitt on June 29, 1929. He died July 19, 1964. She lived in the town of Pine Grove her entire life. Survivors include two sons, William, Plainfield, and Edward (Berdine), Nekoosa; one daughter, Ruth Leavitt, Plainfield; and four grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Clifford.
