Military Service

Allen served in the military for 21 years. He retired from the U.S. Air Force as Tech Sargent. Served as a flight medic. Stationed at Andrew’s AF Base, Okinawa, Scott AR Base. Served in the Korean, Vietnam (2 tours) wars.
Professional Career

Started in the Army, which changed to Army Air Force, then separated and he followed the Air Force (Retired), salesperson for mens clothing store & Peoples Drug Store. After retirement he then became a cattle/chicken farmer, builder.
Personal Life & Family

Allen was married to Myrtle A Butler from Alabama and they raised 4 children. Allen did have a son from a previous marriage who lived with him for 3 years in Okinawa. The oldest child married (wife’s daughter from previous marriage) upon returning from Okinawa and the 3 youngest children (2 girls, 1 boy) was raise in Arkansas on a farm. Allen loved staying busy or fishing. He loved his grandchildren and even got to meet some of the great grand children before leaving this world.
