Introduction

His parents are Howard Itric (1950 - 1997) and Linda (Murrell) Torrence which he was the only son of the two. He has older siblings on his Fathers side, whom I’ve never met and seven other siblings on his Mothers side. Diana, Doreen, Angela, Beautiful, Linda, Wallace, and a younger brother. He also Fathered three children, which he preceded in death his oldest daughter Sierra LaShay Itric his only son Alonzo Lawrence Itric Jr. and an other daughter in her 20’s Who he was very close to which he played the role of their protector and ally in any form or fashion he loved his family and children dearly as I did.

He had a tuff childhood but made the best of it he was colored blind as a child didn’t want to wear the glasses that were prescribed to him. He enjoyed school he loved baseball as he got older. He got his GED he also worked for the Palm Springs International Airport for over 10 years. He met Whoopie Goldberg, Jennifer Lopez, and so many others. He also worked for the Best little Warehouse, in Cathedral City and the a moving company. He was an honorable man he loved life and his families!

Alonzo was a very caring person. He was as big as life itself. He brought me out of a darkness that I was in. He was my light in a good direction we had our ups & downs we met in 2003 we stayed together till 2011 we took different paths and he returned home to California but we did remained close friends until his death 11/20/23. He is missed in more ways than one.
