Amelia Ann (Hickey) Monaghan of Sandhurst, City of Frankston County, VIC Australia was born circa 1870 in Sandhurst to Edward Hickey and Mary Ellen (Howell) Hickey. She had siblings Edward Francis Hickey, Margaret Matilda (Hickey) Perkins, Teresa Josephine Hickey, Irene Veronica Hickey, Annie Mavis Hickey, and John Patrick Hickey. She married Matthew Michael Monaghan in 1890, and had children Edward Michael Monaghan, James Matthew Monaghan, Edith Amelia Monaghan, and Elsie May Monaghan. Amelia Monaghan died at age 76 years old on November 17, 1947.
