He married Olive Height, and had children Edwin R. Leek, Myrtle Deletta Leek, Cora Belle Leek, Jenny Elizabeth Leek, and Princess M. Leek. Amos Leek died at age 85 years old on March 5, 1922 in Douglas County, OR.

    Amos served in the military during the Civil War. He wed in Michigan about 1864 to Olive Height and had 5 children. A newspaper obituary at the time of his death lists him with 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Also, he is listed as living at an old soldiers retirement home.
