Amos Leek was born on October 21, 1836 in Chemung County, New York United States to John S. Leek and Elizabeth Probasco, and had siblings Caroline Leek, Myrtle Leek, Harriet Elizabeth Leek, Nancy Ann Leek, Mahlon Talmadge Leek, Lufanny Leek, and Nathan Bradley Leek. He married Olive Height, and had children Edwin R. Leek, Myrtle Deletta Leek, Cora Belle Leek, Jenny Elizabeth Leek, and Princess M. Leek. Amos Leek died at age 85 years old on March 5, 1922 in Douglas County, OR.
