    The following obituary appeared in The Valley News Dispatch, Tarentum, Pennsylvania: Andrew J. "Bundy" Sziraki Sr., 82, of Allegheny Township died at 7:15 p.m. Monday (Oct. 4, 2004) in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, of heart failure. Born July 20, 1922, in the Georgetown section of Gilpin, he lived in Allegheny Township for the past 55 years. An Army veteran, he served in World War II. He was a roller on the No. 1 United in the Cold Mill Department of Allegheny Ludlum, West Leechburg Works, for 43 years before retiring in 1983. Mr. Sziraki was a member of Christ the King Roman Catholic Parish and Retirees of the United Steelworkers of America, both in Leechburg, a charter member and past commander of the Allegheny Township American Legion, Vandergrift Disabled American Veterans and was a coach in the Allegheny Township Little League. He enjoyed woodworking, traveling, watching wrestling on television, listening to classical music and working on his computer. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Blanche F. Kocon Sziraki; and three daughters, Claudia (Robert) Shafer of Vandergrift, Rochell (the Rev. William) Shafer of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, and Sylvia (Dr. Arthur) Bucci of Pittsburgh. Also surviving are six grandchildren, D'Anne R. Bico, Matthew R., Hera G., and Aaron B.A. Shafer, and Brian A. and David A. Bucci; and two great-grandchildren, Max O. and Aidan J. Bico. He was preceded in death by a son, Andrew J. Sziraki Jr., his parents, Joseph and Mary Konkoly Sziraki; and a brother, Joseph F. Sziraki. Friends will be welcomed by his family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at CLAWSONS, Second at Main streets, Leechburg, where parting prayers of transfer will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday. Christian Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Christ the King Parish by the Rev. Chad Ficorilli. Burial will follow in St. Catherine Cemetery, Gilpin, with full military honors accorded by the Vandergrift Veterans Honor Guard.
