He lived in Oklahnoma City in the 1950's and on February 11, 1977 he married Elsie H Tanner in Tarrant, Texas, USA. They had daughters Rebecca Christopherson and Brenda Holce. He shared his love of the outdoors and camping with his wife and daughters. Jim had a passion for Corvettes, dirt bike riding and rock hunting.

Andrew James "Jim" Moews Obituary

FORT WORTH - Andrew James "Jim" Moews, 67, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2006, in Fort Worth.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home in Burleson. Burial: 12:30 p.m. in Oak Grove Cemetery in Walnut Springs. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials: If so desired, a donation can be made to a children's charity of choice. Jim was a devoted husband and father and he adored his granddaughter. He shared his love of the outdoors and camping with his wife and daughters He had a passion for Corvettes, dirt bike riding and rock hunting. Jim never met a stranger. He had many friends and cherished them all. He was loved and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his daughters, Rebecca Christopherson and Brenda Holce, and his brother, Jack Moews.

Survivors: Wife, Elsie; grand-daughter, Rebecca Holce; sisters, Barbara Pender, Charlene Crooks and husband, Orland, and Pat Reece and husband, Jim; and numerous nieces and nephews.
