    Angelo Mupo was also known as "Mighty Mike" throughout NewJersey which was painted on his Ice cream truck. I never knew him well however he owned Mupo's confectionary for many years. He is father to Angelo Mupo III and Dominick Joseph Ronald Mupo, Grandfather to SSG (ARMY)Angelo Michael Mupo IV, SSG (ARMY) Joseph Mupo and Karri Anne Mupos and Great Grandfather to Briel Marie Mupo, Kyle Michael Till and Mckenzie Mupo.

In 1931, in the year that Angelo M Mupo was born, in March, “The Star Spangled Banner” officially became the national anthem by congressional resolution. Other songs had previously been used - among them, "My Country, 'Tis of Thee", "God Bless America", and "America the Beautiful".
