Anita was raised in Hartford City, IN and spent most of her time in Indiana. She, her husband and her children resided in Anchorage, Alaska, Indianapolis, In and Warsaw, IN. After Anita remarried, she resided in Fort Wayne, IN and Jonesboro, IN. She and her husband had a summer home on the Douglas Lake in Levering, MI. They also owned property in Branson, Missouri and Nashville, IN.

Anita graduated from high school, but took continuing education classes for many years.

Anita was a strong Christian woman and went to a church every Sunday and was also very involved with her church. She attended small group bible studies for much of her adult life.

She was the Innkeepers secretary at Holiday Inn and worked at DePuy as the President's secretary before that.

First and foremost, Anita loved her children and made sure she spent a lot of quality time with her family. Her children, grandchildren, husband, mother and sister were what she lived for, after God!!! She was a wonderful, giving and loving woman and the best mother EVER!!!
