Ann Elizabeth (Hanks) Castles 1873 - 1954

Ann Elizabeth (Hanks) Castles of Chelsea, City of Kingston County, VIC Australia was born in 1873 at Blue Mountain, Trentham VIC, Australia in Trentham, Moorabool Shire County to Thomas William Hanks and Emma (Leech) Hanks. She had siblings Thomas William Hanks, John James Hanks, Fredrick Norris Hanks, Susan Jane Hanks, Harriet Isobell Hanks, Ethel Maud Hanks, Alice May Hanks, Matilda Hanks, George Albert Hanks, George Edward Albert Hanks, and Emma (Hanks) Franzke. She married Albert George Castles, and had a child Hilda Irene Castles. Ann Castles died at age 80 years old on August 22, 1954 in Cheltenham, and was buried at Brighton General Cemetery in Caulfield South, Glen Eira City County.
