    Anna Babette Baumann (* 20.08.1875 in Windsheim - † 04.10.1950) in Cologne-Volkhoven was one of 14 (12?) living (of a total of 18) children. In 1895 she travelled alone (at the age of 20) by train to visit her aunt in Istanbul. After Anna got ill by an infection after pulling off a plant stem, her little finger had to be amputated.
