Annie Catherine (Goodhart) Motter was born in 1871 to Marion Shoffner Goodhart and Mary Grizella (Stough) Goodhart, and had siblings Samuel Edwin Goodhart, George Alexander Goodhart, Martha Jane (Goodhart) Throne, Cyrus Anson Goodhart, and Mary Victoria (Goodhart) Trough. Annie Motter died at age 81 years old in 1952.

Two of the Earp brothers and Doc Holliday were wounded.
