Anthony Caito of Florissant, Saint Louis County, MO was born on August 30, 1932 in St Louis to Salvatore (Sam) Caito and Mary M. Caito. He had siblings Sam Caito, Joseph Caito, and Robert Caito. He married Melba A. Caito, and died at age 66 years old on September 8, 1998 at Saint Luke's Hospital. Anthony Caito was buried at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery Section ZZ Site 810 Sheridan Road, in St. Louis.

    Tony was a Korean War veteran and very proud of his military service He was was preceded in death by his wife Melba who died in 1994..Tony loved sports---particularly St.Louis Cardinals baseball. Besides baseball he loved to "play the ponies"---going with me countless times to Cahokia Downs, Fairmount Park and Ellis Park in Kentucky. Like the rest of us, our Dad was his hero.
