    Birth: 1903 Illinois, USADeath: Nov. 15, 1967 Melrose Park Cook County Illinois, USA Published in the Chicago Tribune (IL) on Nov. 16, 1967: ANTHONY IOSCO, MELROSE PARK CHIEF, IS DEAD Anthony Iosco, 63, Melrose Park police chief died, apparently of a heart attack, in his sleep yesterday in his home at 1108 23rd Ave., Melrose Park. A member of the sheriff's police for 20 years, Mr. Iosco was appointed Melrose Park police chief in 1959. Surviving are his widow, Bertha; three sons, Anthony Jr., a member of the Melrose Park police department, Joseph and Vito; eight grandchildren; and a sister. Mass will be said at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 1103 N. 23rd Ave., Melrose Park. Published in the Chicago Tribune (IL) on Nov. 16, 1967: Anthony F. Iosco Sr., Chief of the Melrose Park Police Dept., beloved husband of Bertha, nee Satzke; loving father of Anthony Jr. (Marie), Joseph (Alma), and Vito (Ida); fond grandfather of eight; dear brother of Mrs. Lucy Lombardi. Funeral Saturday, Nov. 18, 9 a.m., from Ed Prignano Funeral Home, 1815 W. North Ave. (Broadway and North Ave.), Melrose Park. Mass 9:30 a.m. at Mount Carmel Church. Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
