    Anthony Fratello is the son of Frederico Salvatore Rimi Fratello and Chiara "Caroline" Pollina. He was white of Italian heritage. His mother Caroline was born on December 10, 1878 in Monte San Giuliano (Erice), Trapani, Sicily and immigrated to the US arriving in NYC on May 25, 1914. She lived in Brooklyn, Kings and passed away on May 1, 1927. His father Frederico was born on September 9, 1873 in Alcamo, Trapani, Sicilia, Italy and married Caroline on October 1, 1898 in Alcamo, Trapani, Sicilia, Italy. He immigrated to the US arriving in NY, NY on June 24, 1913. He worked in a tin factory and passed away on January 30, 1968 in New York.
