In 1918, by the time he was 25 years old, in January, President Wilson presented his Fourteen Points, which assured citizens that World War I was being fought for a moral cause and outlined a plan for postwar peace in Europe. They were based on the research and suggestions of 150 advisors.

In 1923, he was 30 years old when on August 2, President Warren G. Harding died in office, apparently of a heart attack. After several days of being ill, he suddenly shuddered, slumped over, and died. There were rumors of foul play (some thought that his wife had poisoned him because of his affairs) but no evidence has ever been found.

In 1967, at the age of 74 years old, Anthony was alive when on October 2nd, Thurgood Marshall was sworn in as the first black US Supreme Court justice.
